Neeraj Jain is an accomplished entrepreneur with over 18 years of experience in business advisory, financial consulting, and product development. He is currently working as a Product Advisor at PhonePe, where he is responsible for advising Indian companies on various business-related issues. Neeraj started his career with Hughes Software Systems, where he worked on different telecom-related software products in various roles ranging from testing to software development to pre-sales. After completing his MBA, he worked with Adventity and Spark Capital before co-founding his business advisory and financial consulting firm, Metalogos, in 2006. As part of Metalogos, Neeraj advised a number of small and mid-sized companies from different industries like logistics, media, IT, mobile VAS, internet, fashion, heritage, and travel. After Metalogos, he co-founded Zopper, India's first hyperlocal marketplace and smart ERP system for small retailers. Zopper raised approximately 20 million USD from investors like Tiger Global, Nirvana, and Blume. A part of Zopper's business was acquired by PhonePe in 2018. At PhonePe, Neeraj worked on offline merchants' product and strategy and launched some interesting products. The business scaled from 1 lac to 10 million merchants and from 1 million to 100 million monthly offline transactions in a short span of approximately two years. Neeraj is now onto his next venture. Neeraj has a PGDM from IIM and a B.Tech in Electronics Engineering from the University of Lucknow. He has a diverse tech stack that includes Spark, test, mobile, and software engineering. Neeraj's experience and expertise in business advisory, financial consulting, and product development make him a valuable asset to any organization.
