Neha Shetty is a final year undergraduate student at Christ University, Bengaluru, pursuing a triple major in Psychology, Sociology and Economics. She has a strong passion for learning and has gained both theoretical and practical knowledge in her chosen disciplines. Neha is a multifaceted individual, who is not only a diligent student but also a podcaster, blogger and an avid cricket fan. She is constantly seeking to expand her knowledge and is always submerged in books, thinking about cricket. Currently, Neha is a student intern at 'The Wellbeing Van' - a Positive Psychology Study Group at Christ University, Bengaluru. In this role, she has handled community outreach activities, organized and conducted a summer camp for children up to 14 years of age on ‘24 Character Strengths’, proofread a research paper and attended all meetings, actively participating in reporting the events and activities performed. She has also documented all the work, meetings, and activities. Neha has previously worked as a Psychology Intern at Wellness Within Reach, where she worked side by side with the therapist in line with realistic timeline progression in sessions. She has also introduced case vignettes on anxiety and panic attacks, depression and eating disorders, and anger management and mild depression. Neha has also learned CBT formulation, behavioral therapy formulation, and suicide gatekeeper training. Neha is also the Founder and Host of the Never on the Backfoot Podcast. Her podcast is focused on cricket, where she discusses the latest news, scores, and updates on the sport. Neha's education history includes a Bachelor of Arts - BA in Psychology, Sociology, and Economics from Christ University, Bengaluru, which she will complete in 2022. She completed her Pre-University Education in History, Economics, Psychology, and Political Science from Christ Junior College in 2019 and completed her schooling with 88% from St. Paul's English School in 2004. Neha's relevant experience in the field of research is 2.02 years, and her tech stack includes being a Research Scientist. With her diverse skill set, passion for learning, and experience, Neha is well-equipped to take on any challenge in her future endeavors.
