Neil Ruaro is a driven and skilled software engineer with experience in developing blockchain infrastructure and systems using Golang. He is currently working as a Software Engineer at CertiK, where he is responsible for developing both consumer-facing apps and the infrastructure that powers them. Neil is passionate about contributing to open-source projects and exploring new fields such as machine learning and blockchain. He is constantly seeking learning opportunities to further develop his skills in software engineering and computer science, with specific interests in mobile development, machine learning, and blockchain development. At CertiK, Neil has worked on developing features for a secure blockchain infrastructure, such as signing and broadcasting transactions. He has also initiated the use of test-driven development when developing new features and has written software upgrade proposals. Neil has optimized API calls by 70% by caching requests and limiting payload and has streamlined user experience by communicating with UI/UX designers. Prior to his current role, Neil worked as a Software Engineer Intern at CertiK, where he implemented in-app features, UI/UX design, and applied test-driven development using Flutter and Figma in developing a new cryptocurrency mobile wallet application. He was also an Engineering Officer as part of the AI Sub-Committee in Developer Student Club Taft, a student-led tech organization based in De La Salle University - Taft. Neil holds a High School Diploma from De La Salle University, where he studied Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics. He has expertise in blockchain, software engineering, infrastructure, testing, Golang, UI, machine learning, mobile development, Flutter, and AI.
