Nibedita Nandan is a highly skilled System Engineer with over 9 years of experience in wireless communication and signal processing. She is currently working at Mavenir Systems as a System Engineer, where she is involved in the Navigation Processor design and development for IRNSS user receiver. In her role, she is using Embedded processor of XILINX FPGA PowerPC/MicroBlaze in her design and is also involved in the measurement of pseudorange for GPS. Nibedita has a Doctor of Philosophy - PhD in wireless communication from the Indian Institute of Technology, Patna. During her PhD, she studied the BOC (BINARY OFFSET CARRIER) modulation, its acquisition and tracking, and developed one algorithm for BOC acquisition to remove its side peaks in its autocorrelation function. She has also developed and compared different algorithms of BOC and BPSK acquisition for IRNSS user receiver in MATLAB. Nibedita has published two papers on acquisition of BOC modulated signal in IEEE conference, namely "Performance Analysis of Sidelobe Cancellation Method for BOC modulated Signals" and "A new correlation function for generic BOC(m,n) modulated GNSS Signals". In addition, Nibedita has experience in implementing FFT based parallel code phase search for C/A code of GPS in FPGA. She has also simulated different Transmultiplexer architecture in MATLAB, namely Farrow-based transmultiplexer and Digital Transparent Processor, and has implemented Digital Transparent Processor in FPGA. Nibedita has also configured AHA4525 chip and tested Turbo Product Code encoder and decoder. Nibedita's technical proficiency includes languages such as C, MATLAB, VHDL, Verilog, and software such as MATLAB, SIMULINK, ISE, MODELSIM, EDK, SPW. She has worked as a Researcher PHD Student at the Indian Institute of Technology, Patna, and completed her Master of Engineering at Jadavpur University with communication specialization. Her project work is on Optical CDMA system using Optical Orthogonal Codes, where she explored different methods of reducing interference and implemented a new algorithm to reduce the interference. Overall, Nibedita is a highly skilled and experienced System Engineer with expertise in wireless communication, signal processing, and FPGA implementation.
