Nicholas Angelakis is a seasoned technology leader with over 20 years of relevant experience. He currently holds the position of VP Delivery at CXA Group, a company that provides employee benefits, insurance coverage, integrated flex, and wellness through an intuitive web portal and mobile app. In his current role, Nicholas is responsible for overall project delivery, providing program/project management leadership on technical and customer projects, as well as mentoring, coaching, and managing Technical Program Managers. He collaborates with businesses across Singapore and Hong Kong and manages 4 scrum teams (dev and QAs) spread across Singapore and Vietnam. Nicholas is also responsible for defining governance structure, including work streams, roles, and responsibilities to ensure timely alignment between all parties. He implements best practices, ideas, and trends from outside the organization with an emphasis on agile methodologies. He partners with Product to review requirements in a User Story format to ensure it is ready for grooming with the team. Before joining CXA Group, Nicholas worked as Vice President, Program Manager of Digital Ecosystems Delivery (Paylah!) for Consumer Banking Group at DBS Bank. He was accountable for all Paylah associated activities and led the overall delivery of all new features, including integrations to 3rd party apps. He collaborated with Business, Delivery, and Technology subject matter experts to define scope, estimates, plans, and coordinate development efforts until released to the public. He also drove agile adoption across the Paylah team (Business, Tech, and UAT). Prior to DBS Bank, Nicholas worked as a Technical Program Manager at Grab, where he led the development of various features and worked with governments, drivers, passengers, and charities to unlock the true potential of the region by solving problems that hinder progress. Nicholas holds an MSc in Software Engineering from Westminster University and a BEng in Electronic Engineering from Sussex University. He has expertise in Senior Software Engineering, Mobile, Web, and Infra. Nicholas is a results-driven leader with a passion for delivering innovative and high-quality solutions.
