Nick is currently working as a Software Development Manager at Amazon, where he is responsible for hiring engineers in Edinburgh and UK remote locations. Nick's specialties include matching technology to business requirements, development strategy and implementation, building, motivating and leading development teams, Agile & Waterfall methodologies, SaaS, continuous delivery and improvement, .NET, and LAMP. He has worked in industries such as financial services, commodity trading, corporate actions, trade lifecycle management, and hospitality, including EPoS and consumer engagement. Before joining Amazon, Nick worked as the Director of Group Software Engineering and Head of R&D at Zonal Retail Data Systems.
