Nick Krzemienski is an accomplished software engineering manager and technical lead with over 9 years of experience in developing mobile and web properties from conception to completion. He is currently the Engineering Lead, Video Innovations at fuboTV, where he has been working since 2016 in the OTT video space. Nick has touched nearly every aspect of streaming media, starting with client players and eventually moving on to managing and growing teams for AppleTV and Roku apps. Nick's expertise lies in video encoding and packaging pipeline processes, and he has been able to take fuboTV's VOD video encoding and packaging pipeline processes in-house. He spends his days doing research with ffmpeg, understanding ISO standards, building encoding workflows, managing spot AWS infrastructures, building Docker containers, and engineering software to seamlessly handle the many requirements that enable streaming VOD at fuboTV. Nick's experience in managing and growing teams is evident from his past roles at fuboTV, where he was responsible for both fuboTV's AppleTV and Roku teams' product roadmap and engineering goals. He hired, managed, and mentored a team of 10 software engineers in the NYC office and contributed code to both Roku and AppleTV teams as a SWE while managing. He also designed and implemented workflow automation for both teams with integrations into Jira and developed and designed testing harnesses to run automation suites on an in-house device farm. Nick's education background includes a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from Iona University.
