Nick Shelly is a highly accomplished CEO and co-founder of Apero Health, a healthcare technology startup that was part of the prestigious Y Combinator Summer 2019 cohort. With over 11 years of relevant experience, Nick has a strong background in computer science and has worked for some of the biggest names in the tech industry, including Apple and the NSA. Nick's impressive educational background includes a PhD in Computer Science from Stanford University, where he focused on making networks more open, agile, and secure. He also holds a Rhodes Scholarship and an MFE/MBA from the University of Oxford, as well as a BS in Computer Science from the US Air Force Academy and an Advanced Diploma from Thomas Jefferson High School for Science and Technology. In addition to his academic achievements, Nick has also worked on a number of high-profile projects throughout his career. These include developing flow caching for high-performance software forwarding, as well as creating Snap.py, a Python interface for a C++ large-scale graph analysis platform.
