Nicolas Ouporov is a sophomore and Questbridge Scholar at Columbia University, where he is studying Computer Science and Applied Math. With a keen interest in entrepreneurship, emerging technology, and the arts, Nicolas is passionate about exploring the intersection of these fields. He is currently seeking to expand his knowledge of startups, machine learning, and quantitative finance. Nicolas has a diverse range of interests and hobbies, including creative coding and dance choreography. He enjoys starting small projects in his free time and is always looking for new challenges to tackle. Nicolas has gained valuable experience in the tech industry, having worked as a Software Developer for a stealth startup. Prior to this, he worked as a Student Consultant for monday.com and as an Intern for Assemble. These roles have allowed him to develop his skills in AI, research science, and software engineering. Nicolas has an impressive educational background, having earned a Bachelor of Arts in Computer Science and Applied Mathematics from Columbia University, where he is expected to graduate in 2023. He also holds a High School Diploma with a Dance Concentration from Dreyfoos School of the Arts and has completed a program in Creative Arts and Media at Yale Young Global Scholars.
