Full stack developer/machine learning engineer for an internal application used by AppleCare Advisors

Used machine learning  to develop a suite of APIs  that produce real time sentiment scores and conversation sentiment trends for both voice and text inputs. Also used front end/backend development to create a web portal for demonstrating these APIs.

Worked on analyzing data from the brain power website based on the type of end user (children, parents, behavioral therapists and researchers). Created a data analysis workflow that could be performed and displayed directly on the website for the researcher category.

Worked on an agile team to migrate APIs to the cloud using Amazon Web Services. The specific API that I was responsible for was successfully deployed in the production environment by the end of summer and configured to have 100% traffic in the cloud. Created an internal web application at an intern hack-a-thon. The purpose of the web application was to connect Capital One engineers with other Capital One engineers who, based on the experience listed in their profile, might be able to answer specific questions. The web application would provide results of the individuals whose desk was located on the nearest floor or building to provide one-on-one instead of virtual assistance.

Independently responsible for designing, implementing, testing and presenting two projects. The first project was a data quality test called the "consistency test" that ensured the quality of incoming data with respect to patterns from historical data. The test is integrated with the rest of Ab Initio's Software in order to properly alert users when incoming data is inconsistent with what was expected. The second project involved creating a tool that, given the required "lookup tables," could produce an output specifying the minimum number of phases to be run through before producing the lookup tables. This involved a recursive method because most modules require their own input table lookups.

Designed an experiment to test visual predictive learning in children with Autism. Programmed pilot stimuli through the use of MATLAB, PsychToolbox and OpenGL for use in Autism research. The stimuli was essentially a game in which the user had to predict which side of a Y-maze different characters would come from. If the user dragged the mouse to the correct side to catch the character, he or she received points and visual cues. The back-end MATLAB analyzed the results, produced analytical graphs and saved them for comparison.

Constructed a database of labeled non-word repetition speech to be used in building a front-end speech signal analyzer for a speech recognition system. Gained a strong familiarity with Praat software for speech labeling. Presented results weekly for group discussion.
