Nidhi Vellanki is a highly skilled Software Engineer with over 3 years of experience in the field. She is currently employed at DoorDash as a Software Engineer, where she is responsible for developing and maintaining software systems that help the company provide efficient and effective services to its customers. Nidhi's previous experience includes working as a Software Intern and DevOps Intern at Wave Computing. During her time there, she designed a framework to monitor various elements of corporate intranet infrastructure, such as intranet web applications, server infrastructure, and networks. She used Prometheus and InfluxDB to store metrics and events, and customized Grafana to provide real-time displays, similar to a Network Operations Center (NOC). Nidhi also documented the process through Confluence and taught the team how to maintain the displays that are currently displayed throughout the office. Additionally, she automated the installation of Ubuntu 16 on new user laptops using PXE and kickstart scripts, and automated the post-OS installation set up on both laptops and servers using the Ansible automation framework. She also set up a DHCP server to assign IP addresses to new machines and helped with IT support, such as setting up new user laptops with Windows 10 and Ubuntu 16. Nidhi continued to maintain and improve the Ansible scripts throughout the Fall Quarter. Nidhi holds a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science from the University of California, where she graduated in 2019. Prior to that, she completed her high school education at Saratoga High School in 2015. She has a strong technical background and is proficient in various technologies such as Software Engineering, infra, Ansible, Web, and DevOps.
