Nihar T. is a cross-disciplinary software engineering generalist with a passion for building large, scalable applications and working on robotics projects. He is currently working as a Full-stack Developer at Goldman Sachs, where he is responsible for designing workflow solutions to improve data query, processing, and analysis for the controllers' team. Nihar has a non-traditional dev background, having studied Computational Mechanics, Numerical Methods, and Computational Geometry during his Master's degree at Carnegie Mellon University. With 3.87 years of relevant experience, Nihar is proficient in C++, Java, and Python and has a strong aptitude for developing optimized code that adheres to fundamental OOPS principles. He has previously worked as a C++ Software Developer R&D at Dassault Systèmes, where he implemented new algorithms and improved existing ones to increase performance. He has also worked as an EBU Intern at ANSYS, where he conducted testing of release candidates and automated the transfer of outdated VBScripts to python-based ARM-module. Apart from his work, Nihar is passionate about learning new programming languages and working on robotics projects. He has recently completed a Self-Driving Car Engineer Nanodegree from Udacity, where he learned about autonomous driving.
