Niharika Goel is a skilled and experienced Senior Software Engineer with a focus on distributed systems and microservice-based architecture. With over 6 years of relevant experience, she has worked with a diverse range of technologies including Java, Python, Spring Boot, Flask, Rest APIs, Serverless Framework, OOPS, Multi-threading, JSON, GIT, Redis, MySQL, MongoDB, and AWS (Lambda, API Gateway, S3, EC2, SQS, etc). Niharika has a good understanding of data structures and algorithms, and has worked on various projects during her tenure at Accenture and IBM. At Accenture, she worked as a Python Consultant, where she wrote Python scripts to automate the submission of model training data, thus avoiding human errors in data entry. She also identified performance issues in intermediate tables and created indexes to speed up query time by 2000x. At IBM, Niharika worked as a Python Developer, where she performed migration of analytical modules from MySql to IBM DB2 and AWS S3 to IBM Cloud Object Storage. She also created APIs using Flask framework to predict bug severity and root-cause components using ML model, and provided customer sentiment analysis by analyzing app store reviews by leveraging IBM Watson APIs. Additionally, she created a script for Market Basket Analysis for 10 retail stores to improve cross-selling of items.
