Niharika Ray is a Lead and Automation Engineer at Intel, with 5.35 years of relevant experience in various fields. She is an animal lover and a curious person who is always ready to learn new things and take up new challenges. Niharika started her career as a UX/UI designer at an Ed-Tech startup and later stepped up as a Full-stack developer. She then moved to IISc to work on a wearable device that could detect an epileptic attack before it occurred. After that, she found herself being very keen on cybersecurity and hence decided to make a switch. All her hard work paid off when her team won multiple First rank awards for their security project and papers that followed, leading her to a full-time job in Singapore. Niharika's job at Intel as a Lead Engineer for PVC (Accelerator card for Supercomputers) involves creating, defining, and developing system validation environment and test suites. She uses and applies emulation and platform-level tools and techniques to ensure performance to spec and is responsible for the development of methodologies, execution of validation plans, and debugging of failures. Niharika has a deep understanding of multiple system areas and requires interfaces with Architecture, Design, and Pre-silicon Validation teams in improving post-silicon test content and providing feedback for future on-die debug features. In her free time, Niharika enjoys reading a novel alongside her pets, playing an instrument, sketching, dancing, biking, or trying adventure sports. She hopes to pursue a career as a Product Manager, as she finds it to be a blend of everything she has done, like design, development, operations, Sales & marketing. All of which are crucial pillars to being a successful product manager. Niharika is also interested in learning Finance. Niharika has a Bachelor's degree in Information Science and Engineering from Dayananda Sagar University and is currently pursuing her Master of Business Administration (MBA) from the University of Illinois, which she will complete in 2022. She has a broad skillset that includes UX/UI, Cybersecurity - Cloud, Network, Endpoint, Email; Post silicon validation - ANR, High-performance computing, SR-IO Virtualization, AI, Security, Automation; Sales & Marketing, and Product management.
