Nikhil Chaturvedi is a Senior Software Engineer at Stripe with over 5 years of experience in the industry. He is currently working with Microsoft to improve upon the Azure Cosmos DB NoSQL API footprint. Nikhil is always up for learning about new and exciting opportunities and is open to any queries related to his work. At Microsoft, Nikhil is working on enabling enterprise customers to leverage their AAD based centralized identity for enforcing granular RBAC on their Cosmos DB data plane. He is also responsible for improving the NoSQL API footprint, transport layer security, and network reliability of Azure Cosmos DB. In the past, Nikhil has worked with the Azure Capacity Decommission team to build upon automation for scheduled maintenance of Azure hardware. He has also designed tooling to preemptively track and escalate potentially blocking workload migrations to reduce cycle times, along with an analytics dashboard to visualize all ongoing and upcoming decommissioning schedules. Nikhil holds an Integrated Dual Degree (B.Tech + M.Tech) in Computer Science from the Indian Institute of Technology, Delhi. He also has a Senior Secondary Certificate in Computer Science from St. Columba's School, New Delhi. Nikhil's tech stack includes Software Engineering, Azure, and NoSQL.
