Nikhil Kumar is a skilled Backend Developer with 4.86 years of experience in Java development. Nikhil has a strong background in developing microservices and has worked on several successful projects, including an Online Charging System, Jio Home Security Management, and Internet Protocol Short Message Service (IPSM). In his Online Charging System project, Nikhil developed a microservice called Recharge Manager, which accepts requests from customers through REST API and performs postpaid and prepaid recharges for various plans using multi-threading. He used Aerospike DB to store user details and plan details and updates the metadata of the customer for every recharge. Nikhil also successfully load tested the application at 1000 TPS. For the Jio Home Security Management project, Nikhil analyzed requirements, designed, developed, and implemented an IoT platform that communicates with NBIOT NIDD compatible devices through SCEF with the help of T8 interface APIs exposed by SCEF. He also developed an NB-IOT Application server using Netty framework to handle requests from android and iOS clients for multiple applications that provide IOT services to the users. Nikhil used MongoDB to store details of user and IoT device data. In his IPSM project, Nikhil developed a microservice that supports IOT device communication through Diameter protocol supported interfaces (T4, Sgd, S6c). He also implemented performance measurement parameters like request counters and critical alarms to display on the dashboard. Nikhil's programming language of choice is Java, and he is highly proficient in software engineering, backend development, microservices, and testing. He also has experience with MongoDB, iOS, Android, neural networks, deep learning, Docker, Kafka, Spring Boot, and Spring.
