Prior to his current role, Nikhil served as a Software Development Engineer and Software Development Intern at Amazon, where he launched a free same-day Prime shipping program in India that increased Prime adoption by 350k customers and generated an additional $14MM annually in revenue. He also developed a first-of-a-kind dynamic promotions platform and integration with Amazon Pay cashback and Points (in Japan) benefit vending platforms, launched multiple widgets on different pages of the Amazon customer journey to recommend items to customers and offer benefits in India, Japan, and the EU, and architected a reactor microservice that streams incoming purchases, calculates promotion eligibility, and notifies customers via push notification and on shopping touchpoints of a time-sensitive free shipping promotion. Nikhil holds a Bachelor of Science (BS) in Computer Engineering from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, as well as an ACT score of 34 and an IGCSE from Podar International School.
