Nikhil Panju is an experienced Android developer and co-founder with a passion for open-source and technical writing. He has a working knowledge of most common libraries such as Dagger, Retrofit, Maps, Location, and Epoxy, and is well-versed in Kotlin, Coroutines, Java, Architecture Components, and Design Patterns. Nikhil loves beautiful design, both UX and UI, and product development. He enjoys building clean, testable software for purposeful apps. Currently, Nikhil is working as a Mobile Developer at CRED, where he is responsible for developing mobile applications. Prior to this, he co-founded Ferry, where he built all aspects of a hyper-local discovery and rewards platform from scratch. He conceptualized, decided architectures, designed UI, developed, tested, and deployed two Android apps as the sole android developer. He also designed all of the UX and UI for mobile applications using Figma & Zeplin and managed and organized a team of 20 developers & designers. Before Ferry, Nikhil worked as an Android Developer at Fieldez Technologies, where he migrated the entire codebase to Android Studio, Gradle, Material Design, ListViews to RecyclerViews & MVP architecture in 4 months. He implemented many custom views, animations, and libraries in conjunction with the design team and maintained 2 apps for 2 verticals with certain shared modules used by over 50k users. Nikhil has a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Mechanical Engineering from SSN College of Engineering. His tech stack includes Mobile, Android, UI, Dagger, test, Java, and Kotlin. With 7.44 years of relevant experience, Nikhil is a highly skilled Android developer with a passion for building purposeful apps.
