Nikhil Ramesh is a seasoned Senior Product Manager with expertise in various domains, including real money gaming, data infrastructure/security tooling, and trading/fintech platforms. He is currently working at Paytm First Games, where he is taking poker to the masses in India. Nikhil has a strong background in software engineering and pro-poker playing, which has helped him excel in his current role. Prior to his current position, Nikhil was the Poker Pro/Trader/Founder at GTO Inspector, where he helped poker players fix their leaks by uploading hand histories to be compared against game theory optimal (GTO) solutions. He also consulted and built products for leading poker websites to combat multi-account fraud and bonus abuse. In addition, Nikhil managed operations of India’s biggest PLO cash stable and played at the highest stakes available in India with an All-in Adj. win rate of 11bb/100. He also actively traded index options on NSE based on a VIX model built on his proprietary trading system. Before GTO Inspector, Nikhil worked at Flipkart as an APM 2, where he built a rule-based fraud prevention framework, worked on the central data platform building ingestion pipelines and products, researched and launched a late payment fee structure after A/B testing for the BNPL product, defined and implemented an authentication and authorization layer for the data platform, and built an internal dashboard for business teams to help identify the profitability of shipments and optimize at a pin-code * product category * user demographic level. Nikhil holds a Master of Science (MSc) in Economics and a Bachelor’s Degree in Manufacturing Engineering from Birla Institute of Technology and Science, Pilani. He also attended M.P & E.V English Medium School. Nikhil's technical skills include product management, infrastructure, software engineering, and testing. He has 4.52 years of relevant experience and is passionate about taking on new challenges and driving results.
