Nikhil Vanjani is a highly accomplished researcher and academic with a strong background in cryptography and computer science. Currently pursuing his PhD in cryptography at Carnegie Mellon University, Nikhil has also completed his MS in Information Security from the same institution. Prior to this, he earned his B.Tech in Computer Science from the prestigious Indian Institute of Technology, Kanpur. With almost 3 years of relevant experience in the field, Nikhil has worked with some of the leading organizations in the industry. He has previously worked at Algorand as a Smart Contracts Researcher, where he was responsible for researching and developing smart contract solutions for the blockchain platform. Before that, he was a Graduate Teaching Assistant at Carnegie Mellon University's Information Networking Institute, where he taught Intro to Information Security. Nikhil's expertise in cryptography has been honed through his work with Dr. Shweta Agrawal at the Cryptography Group at the Indian Institute of Technology, Madras. He has also published several papers on the subject, including "Efficient Algorithms for Computing Isogenies Between Supersingular Elliptic Curves" and "A Framework for Proactive Verification of Security Properties in Cloud-Hosted Databases." Nikhil's technical skills include expertise in smart contracts and research scientist, and he has a strong background in computer science and information security.
