Nikolaos Aneziris is a Senior Software Engineer at EPAM Systems in Zurich, with over 11 years of relevant experience in the field. He is passionate about building interfaces that are user-friendly, performant, and visually appealing. Currently, he is working with React in the banking industry in Switzerland. In his previous role as Frontend Developer - Team Lead at peopleperhour, Nikolaos worked closely with product managers and designers on the migration of a legacy web platform to a React-based solution. He analyzed requirements, made estimations, release plans, created and distributed tasks to the team, and led the frontend and backend teams in migrations and new features. He leveraged React to build numerous UI components and integrated several external services into their platform, such as cloudsponge, gtm, and recaptcha. Nikolaos also gave in-house front-end tech talks. Before joining the tech industry, Nikolaos worked as a Manager at The Black Rat Pub. He holds a Nanodegree in Front End Web Developer from Udacity and a Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Computer and Informatics from the Technological Educational Institute of Lamia.
