Nilanker Sen is a highly experienced Product Owner with over 10 years of experience in Banking, Digital Payments, and Financial Services (BFSI) and IT Infra & Services. He has a strong background in Agile Methodology and Product Development, Business Analysis, Requirement Gathering, Strategy Formulation and Execution, and Business Process Modelling. Currently working as a Product Owner at TransUnion, Nilanker is responsible for handling the implementation and monitoring of project and product life cycle. He has a good understanding of Agile/Scrum and Safe framework and is a Certified Scrum Master. He also possesses a good understanding of the four-party payment model and ACH/WIRE/Vcards and Payables. Prior to his current role, Nilanker worked as a Product Development Specialist Senior at FIS, where he was responsible for system improvisation, understanding and gathering requirements from the Product team to facilitate enhancement and interact with clients to understand the scope. He worked on the product that initiates payments processing and billing and reporting for customers paying to vendors and thus maintaining account payable and invoice processing. Nilanker has also worked at Mastercard as a Senior Associate Analyst, where he implemented products and solutions for the Customer Configuration Management team and consulted on core and emerging products to fulfill the development life cycle. He provided direction, support, guidance, and follow-through on global projects for MasterCard clients. Nilanker holds an Engineer's degree from Aligarh Muslim University and completed his schooling from Bharati Vidyapeeth. He possesses a strong tech stack in Integration, Infra, and Test. Nilanker is a good team player with decent communication skills and is known for his ability to handle production ticket/defect backlog and for his communication with all stakeholders and weekly demos.
