Nilesh Sawant is a Senior Member of Technical Staff at Cohesity with over 8 years of experience in manual and automated software testing in both waterfall and Agile development models. He is an expert in automation and script development and has worked with tools such as GIT, JIRA, Jenkins, CVS, Etrack, and TORO. Nilesh has strong technical and troubleshooting skills and is a team player with excellent interpersonal skills. He has a quick grasp of new concepts and excellent communication skills. Currently working at Cohesity, Nilesh has made significant contributions in automation and manual testing of Veritas HyperScale for OpenStack. He has written, modified, and executed test cases for product deployment with RHEL 6.5 and RHEL 7.2 and has developed python scripts that reduce manual efforts for OpenStack configuration. Nilesh has also created a PXE server setup that prepares a test bed of RHEL 7.2 for HyperScale Product in a short time span without any manual inputs. He has developed scripts for creating HyperScale setup on ESX box for developers and introduced the Quick sanity that runs a set of test cases quickly and reports the quality of build. In the past, Nilesh has worked at Veritas and Symantec as an SQA Engineer, where he made key contributions to feature testing for SmartIO caching solutions for VMotion enabled VMWare virtual machines. He has also worked on automation and manual testing of InfoScale 7.1 (Peregrine) and has contributed to SFW Automation in C# for task pause and resume in CVM and MSCS, upgrade automation, and one-click automation for zero manual intervention with all suits and report updation. Nilesh holds a Bachelor of Engineering (B.E.) degree in Computer Engineering from Pad. Dr. D.Y.
