Nilesh Suryavanshi is a seasoned Sr. Member of Technical Staff at VMware with over 9 years of experience in DevOps and Application Lifecycle Management (ALM) with Opensource Technologies. He has expertise in Containersed Microservices Architecture, Container Orchestration Tools (Kubernetes, Docker-Swarm, ECS), and Kubernetes integration tools (Core-Kubernetes, Tectonic, Platform9, Stackpoint, Stratoscale). Nilesh is also well-versed in Container Linux OS (CoreOS), Containerizing Applications using Docker, and Cloud Technology (AWS, GCE/GKE). Nilesh has implemented Kubernetes (Google Container Engine) in Production on Google Cloud Platform and is an Organization Level Trainer for Kubernetes, Docker, DevOps [What/Why/How DevOps], Puppet, and CoreOS. He has implemented ALM processes/tools in all Open Source Technologies and has expertise in open source tools for CI/CD (Jenkins, GITLAB, Bigbucket) and DevOps tools (Puppet, Docker, Ansible, CoreOS, etcd etc.). Nilesh's expertise also extends to Container Monitoring Tools (DataDog, Prometheus, ELK stack). Currently, Nilesh is working on various Open Source Projects and other Open Source DevOps Tools. Nilesh holds a BE degree in Electronics and Telecommunication from Bharati Vidyapeeth College of Engineering. In his past roles at VMware, Nilesh served as Member Of Technical Staff - 3 and Member Of Technical Staff in the Networking & Security Business Unit. His responsibilities included working on Software Defined Network VMware "NSX-T," NSX-T Container Plug-in (NCP), Networking for Containers, Vmware ESX vSphere, and vSAN.
