Nilesh Ukey is a skilled entrepreneur, angel investor, and writer with over 13 years of experience in the IT services and software development industry. He is the Founder and Director of Nickelfox Technologies, an IT/ITeS company that specializes in enabling startups and Fortune 500 companies with speedy time to market. Since starting Nickelfox in 2014, Nilesh has worked with a variety of high-profile brands, including the United Nations, Gucci, The NY Times, GE, ITC, and MyGov. Nilesh has extensive experience in working across a range of sectors, including technology, healthcare, FinTech, insurance, and e-commerce. As a performance-driven entrepreneur, Nilesh's role involves identifying business opportunities, networking, forming strategic partnerships, and upgrading and digitizing business operations. He strongly believes in offering dignified employment and creating value by delivering solutions that impact society. In his previous roles, Nilesh helped a US-based firm set up operations in India and spearheaded the expansion of the firm from a total workforce of 2 people to offices in 4 cities. He was one of the first few iOS developers in India and personally trained the workforce. Nilesh is also an avid reader and believes that it is crucial for people to be aware of everything that is happening around them – socially, politically. Nilesh is passionate about playing his part in building a socially conscious society and strongly advocates the need for ‘critical thinking’ in all age groups. He runs an initiative called Curious Titans, which provides brain food through book reviews and thought-provoking insights. Currently, Nilesh is an Angel Investor at Currinda Pty Ltd, a cloud-based events and association management platform that provides a quick and easy platform for delegates and association members while offering comprehensive reporting and management functionality for managers. Nilesh has also worked as a contributing author at Curious Titans and an Angel Investor at Trainman, a popular app for all information regarding Indian Railways. Nilesh holds an Integrated Dual Degree in Computer Science from IIT and has completed the Team Management & Leadership Program from Landmark. His tech stack includes software engineering and iOS development.
