Nimit Kumar is an experienced product and engineering leader with a passion for building teams and products that improve the lives of people and businesses. With nearly two decades of experience in leading product, engineering, and R&D efforts for tech-enabled businesses, Nimit has worked with Enterprise SaaS, Consumer Payments & FinTech, Ecommerce, EdTech, and Information Management companies, most of which operated across multiple time zones. Currently serving as the Sr. Director of Product Management at zeta, Nimit is on a mission to transform every financial institution into a FinTech and every bank into a Neobank. He leads products for the retail experience suite that enables financial institutions to deliver digital-native financial services to their customers. Prior to zeta, Nimit served as the Director of Product Management at Rakuten, where he led a global team of Product, UX, and Program Management across three areas: AI Platforms, Customer Data Platform, and AI Services that impacted Rakuten's Retail, Financial Services, and Mobile businesses. He was responsible for the Data Science & AI platforms and solutions that enabled multiple Rakuten businesses to acquire, retain, and better serve customers through marketing automation, AI products, and an AI customer data platform. Before Rakuten, Nimit worked as the Sr. Manager of Product Management at Adobe's Experience Cloud business, where he was the product and strategy lead for omni-channel personalization, with a focus on mobile and server-side capabilities. He worked with Fortune 500 companies to enable them to deliver real-time personalization for their customers, growing the mobile personalization business by 85%. Nimit holds a B.Tech in Electrical Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, Kanpur. He is skilled in product management, AI, mobile, and data science. With 18.95 years of relevant experience, Nimit is a seasoned professional in the field of product and engineering leadership.
