Ninaad Rao is a highly motivated and skilled Master of Science in Computational Data Science at Carnegie Mellon University (CMU). With a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science Engineering with Data Science Specialization from PES University, he has gained 2.5+ years of industrial experience, including internships where he has acquired essential technical skills in Python, Spark, Scala, and Machine Learning on Cloud. Currently, Ninaad is working as a Software Development Engineer - Machine Learning at Koo India, where he has successfully deployed various features such as Topics, Named Entity Recognition, Phrase Extraction, Trending Topics, Explore Page Algorithm, Topic Recommendation, and Related Topics. He has increased the coverage of topics from 20 to 600 and followership by 85%, making him a valuable asset to the company. Ninaad's areas of interest include Data Science, Data Analytics, Machine Learning, Deep Learning, Natural Language Processing, and Big Data. He is passionate about exploring new technologies and enjoys discussing them with others. In addition to his professional experience, Ninaad has also worked as a Data Analytics Teaching Assistant at PES University, where he designed and evaluated programming assignments in R and Python and quizzes for 71 students of the Junior year for the Data Analytics course taught by Dr. Gowri Srinivasa. Ninaad's education background includes a Master's degree in Computational Data Science from CMU, which he is expected to complete in December 2023, and a Bachelor of Technology in Computer Engineering from PES University.
