Nipun Jindal is a skilled Backend Engineer with over 5 years of experience in software engineering, analysis, design, and implementation. He has a strong background in building backend platforms and consumer products and systems for applications using cloud services, particularly AWS. Nipun has experience working in Data Platform and Engineering, specifically as part of data ingestion and data engineering teams. Currently working as a Technical Lead at javis, Nipun is involved in developing OTG (On The Ground), a platform that helps users get answers via WhatsApp. He configures answers based on user attributes, connects via API, templates the response, and maintains context to deliver the right answers. Previously, Nipun worked as a Senior Software Engineer at Gojek, where he was part of the Marketplace Platform Team. He led the Augur (Marketplace Serviceability Service) Team, wrote Augur Service from scratch, and developed Driver Pooling as part of the Pooling Team. Nipun also open-sourced async-worker, a tool used by Gojek's engineering team. His tech stack included Golang, Clojure, Python, Redis, Postgres, RabbitMq, Kafka, Flink, Kubernetes, and Gitlab CI/CD. Before Gojek, Nipun worked at Swiggy as an SDE (Delivery Team). He contributed to central log integration and wrote the communication platform for sending SMS/PN/Email/IVRS. His tech stack included Redis, RabbitMQ, ANTLR (Java), and platforms like Exotel, Infini, Knowlarity, Airtel-communications, Sumologic, Pagerduty, and NewRelic.
