Niranjan Nelamangalam is an entrepreneur, senior management executive, consultant, people manager, and geek at heart. With over 26 years of relevant experience, he has strong industry experience in people management, setting up development centers for product companies, leading large and highly scalable engineering teams, agile development teams, development of varied software products and applications. Currently, Niranjan is the Co-Founder of ziniosedge, a technology and creative expert that enables and supports enterprises and startups on their digital journey through a consultative approach as a technology and design partner, specializing in product and application design & development. He is responsible for managing the delivery of software services, product development, and operations of a mid-size company. Niranjan is a passionate engineer at heart, with the ability to lead and inspire the workforce towards organizational goals. He has experience in making financial decisions well balanced among company strategy, profitability, and employee welfare. He is well-versed in the dynamics of managing operations, engineering, and leading outsourced teams, which makes him an executive who can leverage his demonstrated experience with people and financials and deliver superior results. Niranjan is a leader who strongly believes in the success of the team via collaboration and empowerment, with the right mix of delegation, guidance, mentoring, and coaching. He is a people manager with the ability to bring the best of a team capitalizing on the team’s strength and continuously improve the competency and capability of the team. He is also a career architect with constant focus on value improvement of self and team, talent development along with value add to stakeholders (customers, peers, etc.,). Apart from his leadership and people management skills, Niranjan is also a geek at heart. He still manages to get those few lines of code checked-in and participate in feature debates, tech design, white-boarding architectures in multiple technology areas, test/hack designs, quality certification, etc. Niranjan has worked with multiple organizations as a freelance consultant and has founded his own company, SMARANA Solutions, which invests in and builds solutions that are designed to make the lives of people better, leaving an everlasting impression and thus remembrance. He has a Bachelor's degree in Electronics from Bangalore University.
