Nirjhar Banik is a Certified Ethical Hacker and QA Specialist with over a decade of experience in the field. He has a couple of Hall of Fame awards to his credit and is known for leading testing efforts for large and complex applications. Nirjhar has a deep understanding of what and when to automate, which has helped him in his current role as a Senior Quality Assurance Engineer at Quillbot. At Quillbot, Nirjhar is responsible for functional testing of the company's products, designing and executing automation scripts using Java and Selenium, and planning and implementing test management and security testing. He also suggests changes and improvements to QA implementation plans across the organization and performs API testing. Prior to joining Quillbot, Nirjhar worked as a Senior Software Engineer in Test at Upgrad, where he contributed to the existing automation framework using technologies such as Ruby, Selenium, and Jenkins. He also worked on strengthening internal security testing and was involved in DevSecOps. Before Upgrad, Nirjhar was the Lead QA at Bridgetree, where he was accountable for end-to-end creative testing and led the testing vertical of creative testing and its implementation in both the US and APAC. He was responsible for requirement gathering, grey box testing of third-party tags, documentation, and troubleshooting. Nirjhar holds a Bachelor of Technology in Information Technology from Durgapur Institute of Advanced Technology and Management and a Bachelor of Technology from Khalsa Model Senior Secondary School. His tech stack includes QA, test, SDET, Java, Ruby, CI/CD, Jenkins, and web infrastructure. With 12.87 years of relevant experience, Nirjhar is a seasoned professional with a deep understanding of the QA process and how to ensure better customer satisfaction.
