Nirmal Prasad is an accomplished Engineering Director at ShareChat with over 10 years of experience in the technology industry. He is currently focused on enhancing Sharechat's customer mobile experience, leveraging his background in mobile apps and passion for the latest technologies. Nirmal's career started as a SoC design and verification engineer at Freescale, where he gained valuable experience in the semiconductor industry. He then went on to co-found Rootwork Systems, where he created exciting apps for well-known companies such as Intel, HP, Samsung, and more. He also started Hyve, the first mobile-only beauty and wellness app in India, which was later acquired by Stylofie. In addition to his entrepreneurial endeavors, Nirmal has also worked as a Technical Lead at Lenskart, where he took the crash-free rate of the Android app from 92.7% to 99.6% and overhauled the entire experience from Web-like to Material Design. He implemented the Orders Management, Payments, Prescriptions, and Product Discovery modules, providing valuable inputs to API Design and UI Design. Nirmal's education includes a B.Tech in Electronics & Communication Engineering from Motilal Nehru National Institute of Technology, where he graduated in 2011.
