Nirmiti Vankudre is a Software Engineer II at Microsoft with 7.78 years of relevant experience in the field. She has previously worked as a Software Development Engineer at Amazon and a Software Developer at Cisco. At Cisco, Nirmiti was part of the DCNM team in CSG-DC (Core Software Group – Data Center) where she developed automation scripts for Media Controller used in broadcast networks. Her scripts tested the feature for packet loss, ultra-low latency, and jitter requirements. She also fully automated the deployment of DCNM using VMware vSphere API’s, significantly reducing time for installation, setup bring up, logging bugs, etc. Nirmiti wrote automation scripts for Operations and Maintenance (OAM) feature and tested interactive GUI elements using Selenium. She updated existing scripts written in Tcl to work on the python framework for the Fabricpath team in CSG-DC. Nirmiti has played a pivotal role in transitioning the team from manual testing to automation testing and collaborated with marketing/sales teams to understand and implement customer use cases. She has a Master of Science (M.S.) degree in Telecommunications Engineering from the University of Maryland and a Bachelor of Engineering (B.E.) degree in Electrical, Electronics, and Communications Engineering from Sinhgad College of Engineering. Her technical skills include Software Engineering, test, Selenium, and Python.
