Nishant Dalmia is a visionary entrepreneur and tech enthusiast with a passion for cryptocurrencies and blockchain technology. He firmly believes that Bitcoin will eventually replace the US dollar as the world's reserve currency and that the decentralised internet powered by blockchain technology will revolutionise the way we do business. As a Forbes Asia 30 under 30 honouree and a graduate of IIT Kharagpur with a degree in Computer Science, Nishant has accumulated an immense amount of knowledge and experience in the tech industry. Currently serving as the Cofounder and CTO of Cogoport, Nishant is on a mission to build the world's first freight marketplace that connects importers and exporters to logistics service providers in the most transparent and efficient way possible. With close to 35 million dollars raised from Accel, Gemini, and Tiger, Cogoport is valued at close to 200 million dollars and profitable as of December 2020. Nishant is passionate about building and growing startups, and he believes that every single person working in a company contributes to its success and deserves a fair share of it. Nishant's expertise extends beyond product strategy, product management, low-fidelity wireframes, problem-solving, tech architecture, software development, devops, go-to-market strategy, growth marketing, hiring, and team management. He has also founded and led two successful startups - Aasaan and a-desk by Sanist Technology - that focused on b2c and b2b conversational commerce, respectively. Although both ventures faced challenges, Nishant's leadership and strategic vision enabled A-Desk to achieve a million-dollar annual run rate with a 10% operating margin. Nishant's tech stack includes Bitcoin, senior software engineering, Web3, blockchain, decentralised technologies, product management, DevOps, and software engineering.
