Prior to joining BNY Mellon, Nishant worked as a Software Developer at Persistent Systems, where he was responsible for implementing the CI/CD part of the development process. He built a Java spring-boot application using Maven and connected the backend to an SQL database. He also containerized the frontend, backend, and database using Dockerfile and Docker-Compose and automated the process using Jenkins. Nishant's experience in using Selenium for testing has been invaluable in ensuring the quality of the software applications he develops. Nishant is a proactive and detail-oriented individual who is passionate about cybersecurity and staying up-to-date with the latest developments in the field. He is a Student Auditor at Patel Hall of Residence and has been actively involved in various extracurricular activities during his time at IIT Kharagpur.
