Nishant Katariya is an experienced Senior Software Engineer and Python Backend Developer with a passion for developing smart solutions for the betterment of society. With over 8 years of relevant experience, he has a strong background in Deep Learning, Machine Learning, Computer Vision, and Autonomous Vehicles. Currently, Nishant is working at Tech Mahindra as a Senior Software Engineer on a client project to build the backend for a forecasting web application. He is proficient in Python, FastAPI, REST API, Kubernetes, Celery, and Docker, and has a strong understanding of web development. In the past, Nishant has worked at Verificient as a Computer Vision Engineer, where he developed backend modules and AI algorithms using Python. He also worked at Infosys as a Technology Analyst, where he was part of a new initiative to invest in cutting-edge technologies of the future. Here, he worked on Obstacle Detection and Localization in 3D using Lidar Point Cloud and developed a Perception algorithm to detect and localize obstacles in the Lidar 3D point cloud using Deep Learning Algorithms in Tensorflow, OpenCV, Keras, and Python. Nishant holds a NanoDegree in Self Driving Car from Udacity and a Bachelor of Engineering in Electrical, Electronics, and Communications Engineering from G H Patel College of Engineering & Technology.
