Nishant Parashar is a Principal Engineer of Web at Group Byjus, with a focus on ReactJs at scale and Javascript orchestration. He is a tech entrepreneur at heart with efficient knowledge of Frontend Architecture, Backend, and AWS Infrastructure. With 9.12 years of relevant experience, Nishant has worked in various roles across different companies. Currently, Nishant is working as a Principal Engineer at Whitehat Jr, where he is leading the development of a unified in-class experience using MicroFrontend/MiddleWare pattern for 18 companies. He has improved applet performance by 20% using Web Worker/Caching and developed a video streaming and whiteboard feature where the student writes on a physical board, and the teacher annotates on the video stream using the whiteboard, merging both the streams on the student screen. Nishant is also leading the Teaching Aid POD, taking care of all in-class activities such as applet, whiteboard, and slides. He has led the BFS UI project using Nx/Monorepo/Module Federation/Tailwind with a team of 10 people. Previously, Nishant has worked as a Lead Frontend Engineer and Senior Software Engineer at Whitehat Jr, where he led Math 1:4, Math 1:1 on Tablet, and Byju D4 initiative. He scaled Maths/Music from scratch using coding as a base to 90/80 MN and doubled the worksheet submission by creating a Worksheet Whiteboard (Transparent Whiteboard on top of the Worksheet). He was awarded as the emerging team leader. Nishant has a degree in Information Technology from JSS Academy of Technical Education, Noida. His tech stack includes ReactJS, Javascript, Web, Frontend, AWS, Redux, UI, Backend, Software Engineer, Infra, Mobile, and Kafka. With his expertise in these technologies, Nishant has led a team of 9 people and delivered successful projects.
