Nishant Saini is an experienced Technical Architect with a strong background in the internet industry. He is skilled in Elasticsearch, PHP, Symfony (LAMP), JAVA, and SpringBoot. With a Master of Technology (MTech) in Computer Science from Birla Institute of Technology and Science, Pilani, Nishant has worked with Info Edge for over seven years and has been involved in building and evolving a SAAS product focused on making the recruitment process easy for individual recruiters/enterprises/companies/consultants. During his tenure at Info Edge, Nishant grew from a Senior Software Engineer to a Technical Lead. As a Technical Architect, he is responsible for overseeing the design and development of the product, as well as working as an individual contributor to ensure the smooth operation, future scaling, and optimal performance of the web application. Nishant has recently worked on the overhaul of elastic-cluster architecture and major up-gradation of Elasticsearch version. He has also developed a micro-service of the search module using the Spring Boot framework. Nishant's expertise in Elasticsearch has enabled him to engineer the architecture and infrastructure for elastic clusters that support 4.5 billion documents with search requests of 150 qps and indexing requests of 300 per sec. He has also set up, configured, integrated, and maintained three elastic clusters and achieved 99.99% uptime for the cluster. Nishant has worked as a Technical Architect and Technical Lead at Info Edge. As a Technical Architect, he designed micro-services from monolith code base and worked closely with EMs to help them understand technical feasibility. He also collaborated with the product team to determine project specifications and scope, optimized hardware utilization, and monitored system performance and alerts to make improvements and achieve 99.99% uptime. As a Technical Lead, Nishant supervised tech projects to improve system performance and stability, mentored and guided team members, and achieved 4x indexing improvement and 90% reduction in latency with new cluster and microservice design. Nishant's education includes a Master of Technology (MTech) in Computer Science from Birla Institute of Technology and Science, Pilani, and a Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech.) in Computer Science from Uttar Pradesh Technical University.
