He is the founder of OffNote Labs, an open AI research lab for independent researchers and builders. Nishant is passionate about distilling, innovating and transforming complex technology into consumable products. Nishant is an expert in deep learning and its multi-modal applications to text, speech, and vision. He also has expertise in symbolic reasoning, constraint solvers/optimizers, and compilers. Nishant enjoys mentoring on theoretical and practical aspects of deep learning and AI. He is a technical advisor for medium/large companies across several industry verticals, helping companies understand and maneuver through the complex, evolving AI space, build innovative teams and cutting-edge solutions, IP which maximize ROI and enable market leadership. Nishant has worked with large, global corporations (100M+) including Fortune 500 clients. He has also worked as a research scientist at IBM and NEC Labs. Nishant has a Ph.D. from Carnegie Mellon and has published several research articles. Nishant is the founder of OffNote Consulting, a small team of niche deep/machine learning consultants with more than a dozen happy clients from across the world. He has worked long term with client teams, end-to-end, from problem discovery/formulation stages to final product deployment on Cloud servers. Nishant has also built in-house expert teams capable of delivering on cutting-edge, deep learning, and data science projects.
