Nishant Srivastava is an experienced Telecom System Design and Application Development Engineer with a strong background in C++, Oops, STL, Multithreading, Design Patterns, and Linux System Programming. He has over 3 years of experience in object-oriented design concepts and SOLID design principles, with expertise in Creational, Structural, and Behavioral design patterns. Nishant is skilled in Cisco Networking and open to learning new technologies as per the requirement of Product Development lifecycle. Nishant has a Bachelor of Technology degree focused on Electronics and Communications Engineering from the National Institute of Technology Silchar, with a strong academic record and coding experience. He has critical reasoning skills developed from research/academics experiences and technical skills from professional grounds, making him capable of establishing a viable business out of an idea. Currently working as a Software Developer (Routing/IP) R&D at Ciena, Nishant is involved in the Research & Development team of Routing/IP and responsible for developing features of MPLS, RSVP, L2VPN, L3VPN for the control plane of Ciena Valimar 10K series Router. Previously, he worked as a Senior Software Developer at Altran, where he gained working experience of Software Development in C++ using Oops, STL, Design pattern, Multithreading for Logging and measurement part of TMA/LMA, VTM application for GUI display, features of 4G LTE/NR5G wireless communication for Viavi TM500 UE equipment's, product of Viavi solutions (UK). Nishant has also worked as a Senior Software Developer (Metro Telecom System) at Larsen & Toubro, where he was responsible for the Design and Development of Hierarchical Network backbone infrastructure (L2/L3 layer Routing & Switching) for different IP equipment used in the Telecom package of BMRCL. He also developed a Centralised Fault Monitoring System for different IP equipment for the BMRCL project in C++ and Linux environment, involved dealing with C++ socket Programming, Multithreading, Linux IPCs, and resolving System design issues to outperform the system as per contractual obligations. Nishant has extensive experience in delivering KT on advanced C++11,14,17 features, DSA, and Design patterns to freshers, colleagues, and Freelance Corporate Training modules.
