Nishant has successfully led a cross-functional team of 5 people that dealt with all fraudulent activities in the game, contributing over 20% of the revenue. He has brought down refund and credit card fraud from $2000/day to less than $100/day, which led to a 10% increase in non-fraud revenue from the play store. Nishant has also reduced collusion games by 50% by building a collusion detection system and increased revenue by 2.5% with a future upside of 5% by reducing the illegal offline sale of chips. In the past, Nishant has worked as a Principal Software Engineer and Senior Software Engineer at Moonfrog Labs. He has led the engineering team and helped grow it from 5 to 13 in 2.5 years. Nishant has also scaled up the tech to support growth from 1M to 4M+ DAU. He has built a 1v1 Teenpatti bot from scratch using the CFR+ algorithm and pioneered Typescript that reduced server bugs reaching QA by 40% and production by 15%. Nishant has also implemented scrum on slack for better time management and productivity. Nishant has a Bachelor of Technology (BTech) degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, Varanasi.
