Nishanth Vasudeva is an experienced Software Engineer with a passion for automation. He is skilled in designing, developing, and maintaining applications using various technologies. Currently working as a Software Engineer - Apps at Crest Data Systems, Nishanth is responsible for enhancing the user experience and usability of Splunk Monitoring Console, an app that monitors all the different components of Splunk. He also worked on packaging this app into Splunk using CMake and updating the CI/CD pipelines to automate Unit Test execution on each commit, using Docker and YML. Additionally, he worked on bug fixes, UI, and dashboards, and wrote new and updated functional tests using pytest, Selenium, thus increasing the code coverage. Nishanth also had the TPMs hat on and drove the project to completion. Nishanth has also worked on Rapid Diag, an app that helps admins collect diagnostics details of Splunk instances. He worked on UI enhancements using Javascript with React and added new test cases to test these new functionalities. In his previous role as a Software Engineer - Internal Tools at Crest Data Systems, Nishanth was one of the lead engineers that took initiative to build the internal tools/applications to make some of the company's operations easier. He researched and did POCs on different technologies and was part of the application design team. Nishanth has a Master of Science (M.S.) degree in Computer Science from the University of Texas at Arlington and a Bachelor of Engineering (B.E.) degree in Computer Science and Engineering from Acharya Patasala Rural College of Engineering A.P.S. He has relevant experience of 7.53 years and is proficient in technologies such as Javascript, UI, CI/CD, Selenium, Backend, Docker, Bamboo, Python, RabbitMQ, and QA.
