Nishanthi Balakrishnan is a data enthusiast, philanthropist, and diversity and inclusion evangelist with over 4.77 years of experience. She is passionate about getting data to ta-da and considers fighting dirty and humongous data to be her warrior moment. Nishanthi's zeal to innovate and ideate can be traced back to her pre-professional days, where she co-founded and volunteered in community services and led events in college technical festivals at the National Institute of Technology. Nishanthi has an insatiable thirst to learn and try her hand at new and diverse activities. As a strong believer in equality, she has bolstered diversity in her previous organization, Citi, by involving herself in recruitment and Diversity & Inclusion activities. Nishanthi enjoys a good Netflix binge but can also be found dancing Bharatanatyam (classical Indian dance) or hiking on mountains or huddled somewhere cozy with a book. Her curiosity and spirited desire to solve problems and weave them with their solutions into interesting stories drive her to participate in varied endeavors. Currently, Nishanthi is a Senior Revenue Cycle Analytics Consultant at Banner Health. She has previously worked as a Consultant at Sogeti and an Enterprise Analytics Engineer at Best Western Hotels & Resorts. Nishanthi holds a Master of Science in Business Analytics from W. P. Carey School of Business – Arizona State University, a Diploma in Transportation and Highway Engineering from CADD Centre, and a Bachelor of Technology in Civil Engineering from NIT Tiruchirappalli. Nishanthi is a Tableau Desktop Specialist and has completed the OpenHack: Modern Data Warehousing certification. She is in the job market and passively looking for new opportunities.
