Kenji Nishi is a seasoned Managing Director with over 18 years of experience in the automotive industry. He is currently working at Deloitte Touche Tohmatsu LLC as the Managing Director - Risk Advisory Automotive. He has a proven track record of delivering successful projects in global strategic planning, vendor management, warranty and supplier chargeback system development, and field quality improvement system development. Kenji has also developed quality and warranty data analytics tools using big data platforms, Tableau, and text mining. He has successfully renewed call center platforms using voice to text, text mining, and AI. Kenji has built new IS/IT organizations in Brazil, and has managed the implementation of SCM/MFG global applications in Brazil. He has evaluated SCM applications with portfolio and roadmap and has managed SCM projects in a multinational environment. Kenji is fluent in both Japanese and English, and his strengths lie in program and project management skills, enterprise architecture implementation knowledge and experience, cross-cultural and regional communication skills, and global supply chain management and manufacturing knowledge. Currently, Kenji is working as the Deputy General Manager at Nissan, where he is responsible for the Global Governance Office. He leads strategic planning to build new IS/IT midterm plans, executive engagement, and vendor management, including contract, software, and service providers. In his previous roles at Nissan, Kenji worked in the Digital Monozukuri Division, Quality System Department, and Global CIO Office, Vendor Management Office. He has a Bachelor's degree in Intercultural Study from Kobe University. Kenji has experience working with AI, Big Data, and DevOps technologies.
