Nishita Tanwar is a Senior Software Engineer at Fidelity Investments with a passion for technology and a heart for the world. With a specialization in Cloud Technologies, Data Sciences, Intelligent Systems, Agile Software Development, and Software Defined Networks, Nishita has proven her abilities and interests in doing good for people. She holds a Master’s Degree in Computer Science from The University of Texas at Dallas and a Bachelor of Technology in Information Technology from Delhi Technological University, India. Nishita has extensive experience in the field of networking, research, and consulting, and possesses an in-depth knowledge of relational database management systems. She has worked on various projects with many web programming languages and different technologies throughout her career in software development. Nishita has also been fortunate enough to be trained in Microsoft Technologies and has mentored and contributed to open source projects with many organizations. Aside from her technical skills, Nishita is also involved in many organizations and volunteering activities, demonstrating her commitment to all-round development. She is an effective communicator, adaptable, and willing to learn. In her previous roles at Fidelity, Nishita served as a Digital Technologist and Cloud Technologist, consistently delivering fast business value through technology. As an architect, she delivered lambda functions to work with AWS Elastic search service and S3 bucket to enable search functionality on the website. As a designer, she led Application Lifecycle Management Self Service design sessions with JIRA, Artifactory, Confluence, and Concourse teams, delivering wireframes with set user action patterns for each tool. She conducted User Experience Testing sessions for the above design deliverables with stakeholder working group/Business partners and incorporated their feedback on the same. Overall, Nishita has 6.45 years of relevant experience in software engineering, research science, web, search, AWS, testing, and design.
