Nithin Kallayil is a budding Process Engineer with a passion for finding innovative solutions to industrial problems. With almost three years of experience in the field, he has worked on LNG and LPG terminal projects, gaining expertise in pre-treatment, liquefaction, and regasification. He has also developed skills in P&ID and vendor document mark-up and review, line list preparation, and Management of Change (MOC) and Comment Resolution Sheet (CRS) preparation. Nithin is a graduate of the National Institute of Technology Karnataka, where he earned a Bachelor of Technology degree in Chemical Engineering. He later pursued a Master of Technology degree in Chemical Engineering at the Indian Institute of Technology, Roorkee. During his studies, Nithin gained hands-on experience with Aspen Plus, designing a distillation column and an absorption column. He also worked on a project where he designed a controller system for a bioreactor using the Simulink tool of MATLAB. Currently, Nithin works as a Process Engineer at Technip Energies, where he is a Graduate Engineering Trainee. His work involves Hydrogen, Ammonia, Catalysis, and Plant Operation. He is responsible for preparing P&ID and vendor document mark-up and review, line list preparation, and Management of Change (MOC) and Comment Resolution Sheet (CRS) preparation. Nithin has a keen interest in steady self-improvement and is an avid reader. Outside of work, he enjoys powerlifting and cue sports. Nithin's past experience includes working as a Trainee Process Engineer at Jayathe Petrotech Engineers and Consultants Private Limited, where he worked on an LPG terminal project. He also worked as a Summer Intern at the Indian Institute of Technology, where he gained exposure to Aspen Plus and designed a controller system for a bioreactor using the Simulink tool of MATLAB.
