Nithin Krishna is a Principal Engineer at Mercedes-Benz Research and Development India with over 13 years of experience in software design and development, automation, process improvement, and leadership. He possesses expertise in Java, Spring, C/C++, Object-Oriented Analysis/Design and Development. Nithin has demonstrated his software design abilities by designing a software simulator for Wireless Sensor Networks as a student, which has since been used in the design/implementation of research papers in that field. He has also published 2 technical papers in prestigious international conferences and demonstrated research interests by being a part of a team that successfully designed and tested a rocket engine, successfully tested by VSSC ISRO. As a Senior Technical Lead at Mercedes-Benz, Nithin was responsible for requirement gathering, software design, algorithm design, software implementation, sprint execution, and delivery of Drivability Research Software for Mercedes-Benz cars. He worked closely with calibration engineers to gather requirements for various drivability events and designed software architecture, creating 4+1 views based on the software requirements obtained. Nithin has also worked as a Software Engineer (Red Badge) at Cisco, where he worked as a team lead and Scrum master for the VCMUI component of the CISCO SVPSS headend division. He was responsible for the design, implementation, and delivery of various features for the VCMUI for BSkyB. He also worked on openstack postgres integration POC studies for Cisco IVP platform, configuring auto-scaling and high-availability on openstack. Nithin has presented guest lectures on Wireless Sensor Network at various Engineering colleges and demonstrated proficiency in leading and mentoring individuals, as a buddy to interns, at NETAPP India Pvt. Ltd. He holds a Master of Technology (MTech) degree in Computer Systems Networking and Telecommunications from Bangalore University and a Bachelor of Engineering (BE) degree in Electrical, Electronics and Communications Engineering from Vishveshwaraiah Technological University.
