Nithin Tom is a skilled software engineer with a passion for design and optimization. With a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science and Engineering from NIT Calicut, he has gained experience in both frontend and backend development, working mostly on distributed, data-intensive applications in the business intelligence and banking domains. Currently working as a Senior Software Engineer at FalconX, Nithin is involved in building and optimizing crypto trading products. He is skilled in Python, JavaScript, Golang, and C++, and has experience working with colocated and remote teams. Nithin has previously worked at o9 solutions as a Software Engineer 2, where he built and optimized services and data pipelines for data transformation and ML workflows using Python, Spark, and Hadoop. He has also worked as a Software Engineer in the R&D division on a cloud-native data platform used for large-scale business planning, focusing on feature development and system optimization. Apart from his technical skills, Nithin is a big fan of the sci-fi and fantasy genres in literature, animation, and film. In his free time, he enjoys reading books and taking a stroll around the neighborhood.
