Nitin Vinayak Agrawal is a final-year undergraduate student at BITS Pilani with a passion for deep learning and data science. He believes that data is the key to solving many of the challenges faced by humanity today. Currently, Nitin is working as an entry-level data science intern at voziq, where he takes pride in building models that translate data points into valuable business insights. In his current role, Nitin has developed a Customer Churn Prediction Model with the Data Science team for a US-based client, Vivint Smart Home Security & Alarm Systems. He implemented a boosting model that has the potential to reduce customer attrition rates by up to 45% through proactive retention of target customers. Nitin has also gained experience in team management, having served as the Coordinator of the technical team of 20+ robotics enthusiasts at team robocon bits pilani. He has represented BITS Pilani in robotic competitions at IIT Bombay TechFest '20 and promoted Robotics and AI culture at the campus through workshops. Nitin's educational background includes a Bachelor of Engineering degree and a Minor in Data Science from BITS Pilani. He also completed his high school education at Delhi Public School Bhilai, where he studied PCM + CS and PCMB + Sanskrit in middle school. Nitin is proficient in several technologies, including SQL, Python, Deep Learning, Amazon Athena, Scikit, and Pandas. He has 1.95 years of relevant experience in the field of data science and is always eager to learn and explore new technologies.
