He has a strong background in vulnerability assessment, vulnerability management, application-level scanning tools, penetration testing, incident response, threat modeling, cryptography, PCI-DSS, FedRAMP, ISO/IEC 27000 Series, SIEM, and GRC. Nitin holds a Master's Degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering from Illinois Institute of Technology, Chicago, USA. He has worked with leading companies such as McAfee and Nokia Networks. At McAfee, he is currently working as a Cyber Security Specialist, responsible for remediation tracking and vulnerability management. He has worked on the FedRAMP project and has analyzed McAfee vulnerability management policies and processes to provide inputs for improvement. He has also coordinated with patching teams to identify vulnerabilities that can be fixed by patching. Nitin has participated in audits related to security and compliance and has maintained awareness of contemporary security laws, standards, practices, and methods. At Nokia Networks, Nitin worked as a Network Support and Security Engineer, providing solutions to mobile service providers to manage explosive traffic growth and transform to a ubiquitous IP and packet transport network from the edge to the core. He has handled ATM switches, demonstrated 4th generation mobile networks for planned future launch in the emerging regions, deployed and administered Tellabs switches for 3rd generation mobile networks across India, and installed and commissioned ultra and flexi hybrid BTS for 2nd generation mobile networks for Vodafone and Bharti Airtel.
