Nitin Bairagi is an experienced Module Lead in AbInitio at Larsen & Toubro Infotech Ltd, with over 6 years of IT experience. He has a strong background in Data Analysis, Metadata management, Data Quality, Reporting, and ETL, with a focus on Collibra, Ab Initio, SQL, and Microsoft SQL Server in the banking domain. Nitin has worked closely with Data Stewards on implementing policies framed by the Data Governance Council, and he has excellent experience in interacting with stakeholders/customers in understanding their requirements through interviews/workshops and existing system documentation or procedures regarding implementing data lineage and deciding on the level of data flow diagrams required to implement the same. Nitin has a good exposure to each of the phases of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), developing projects from the stage of concept to full implementation. He has worked closely with projects as a part of the Data Governance Team to achieve metadata management on an enterprise level utilizing Ab Initio Metadata>Hub for harvesting technical metadata & Collibra Data Governance Center (5.2) to harvest business metadata. Nitin has helped clients in building Data Dictionary, Business Glossary, Data Lineage for projects falling under BCBS 239 Compliance using Ab Initio Metadata Hub and Collibra DGC. Nitin has worked on the project following Agile methodology and is familiar with sprint planning, sprint retrospective, backlog, active sprints. He has a relevant experience of 10.03 years and has worked with Cognizant as an Associate where he was a part of the BCBS 239 Data Management Program. His responsibilities included creating import feeds and import rules using in-built extractors as well as custom extractors in MDH, developing/maintaining custom extractors using GDE to import the data elements into MDH for technologies such as T-SQL, QlikView, Java, and creating Metadata Reports using both Report Builder and Meta-SQL Workbench options in MDH. Nitin completed his Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech.) in Production Engineering from Shri Guru Gobind Singhji Institute of Engineering & Technology (SGGSIET) in 2013. He completed his Intermediate from Bharat Jr. College in 2009 and his Matriculate from Bharat Vidyalaya in 2006. Nitin's tech stack includes SQL, ETL, Software Engineer, and Java.
